You may have read about Microsoft and Googles announcements today about partnering with Twitter to provide real-time search results. While Microsoft has created separate space for twitter search and is not immediately mixing it with bing organic results (http://www.bing.com/Twitter), Microsoft is planning to go the other route and will be integrating the real-time results in its standard search results. It will be interesting to see how it affects the rankings on Google, if at all; or if Google will create separate space within the page to display twitter results (much like adwords)
